    David Yurman Diamond Earrings

Earrings are something that while we might not feature them a lot in this blog, they are certainly an important part of our outfit.  Honestly, how many times have you picked out an outfit and have had to change it because of the earrings that you were wearing?

I know I have done it a whole lot, however, with David Yurman Diamond Earrings, I would think that you would not have to change your outfit, for these beauties go with anything!

The beautiful blue topaz in the middle is something that makes them so attractive to me because it is something different and something extremely unique – the diamonds around the topaz is something that I love too, so really … I am just in love with the earrings all together!

    Castaway Jewelry

Jewelry is something that should be special and that is how I view the brand new collection from Susan Wong — Castaway Jewelry.  Her vision is something that I absolutely agree with and she is basing this particular collection around treasures lost at sea … and that is exactly the inspiration behind this particular necklace!  The pyrite and sand dollar necklace are two things that are definitely sea-worthy and look amazing on.

Susan Wong, just a little background on her is actually a self-taught jeweler, which is something that I respect very much as I am a self-taught … a lot of things actually.  She started making jewelry early on and has just released Castaway Jewelry which is a collection that she is very, very proud of.

With good reason too! This chick is on the high-rise and she will definitely be gaining a lot of business from me … you can bet on that!

Tanzanite_brooch-0x600Tanzanite is one of those severely overlooked gemstones. I mean, I absolutely adore purple gems and I have never even consider tanzanite. But upon seeing something like this gorgeous brooch, it is impossible not to think about how visually stunning this gemstone really is.

Ruth Grieco is responsible for the stunning brooch. The use of tanzanite in the design is extremely meaningful.

Tanzanite was discovered in Tanzania, a state in East Africa, back in 1967. Then, a man from the Maasai tribe caught sight of a translucent blue glint in the foothills of towering Mount Kilimanjaro.

Even today, chiefs in the Maasai tribe will give their wives pieces of tanzanite when their wives given birth to a new baby. It creates a symbol of a healthy and happy life for the new child. It also acts as an heirloom.

Tiffanypinknettassel-0x600It seems quite often like Tiffany’s can do no wrong and with this new piece, I am inclined to really believe that. This is the stunning Elsa Peretti® pendant is the reason why.

It is one of those special finds that can kind of reaffirm your love of jewelry and innovation. This is partly because the piece includes many of the gorgeous things Elsa Peretti herself has found on her travels to all kinds of exotic destinations.

Among its features, there is a 135 carat rubellite which is captured in a gorgeous silk net, made by master, skilled artisans in Japan. The threads, which are exquisitely, finely woven, cross the smooth, polished curves of the stone, flowing on to create a tassel.

The pendant also has a Tahitian pearl accent.
